POODLES!!!
2 Tiny Poodles- who ended up being Cocapoos!
They have made it here safe!! I know alot of you are wondering how they are. They are doing GREAT!! If you do not know their story, they were in an "Animal Control" facility in Southern Missouri. They had been picked up off the streets, and word had it they were dumped. Someone had heard people had tried dropping them at a shelter but they were not taking any more dogs in. All of a sudden they were wondering about- so the people just dumped them. This animal control facility has only 5 pens in it. The dogs who go there have 5 days. If nobody claims them they get euthanized. I had heard thes two were in there are tried desperately to find someone who could go in and get them for me. The lady who normally saves the dogs from there was out of town.... Thankfully at the last minute i found a wonderful lady named marilyn who said she would get them for me. They had a "due date" of 12:30 Monday.... and Marilyn got there at 1:00pm as she had to drive 2 hours in an ice storm. Luckily the man named James who runs the place waited for her, and she got there in time. Then marilyn drove them to her house and let them stay a week. She also took them to the vet and got their shots and health cert for the transport. THEN she drove them to get on the transport wich startd at 4:30 am!! ~ I think i have found an angel???? ~ Anyway- the 2 little guys were in the van from 4:30 am to 8PM when we picked them up in Denver. Then another 2 hours to home. We also had another passenger- a 5 month old chihauhau/peke cross tiny boy who was confinscated in a drug bust.... All three act as tho nothing bad has happened to them. Beside being a bit thin and NEEDING baths and getting rid of some fleas, they are doing great!!! THANK YOU to all of you who helped save their tiny lives and get them home!!!!!! And a BIG thank-you to marilyn!!! Also Judy who rode w/ me to Denver so i would not wet my pants driving alone! :)
